Military operations in Afghanistan are now heavily reliant on the delivery of fuel through hostile terrain. Insurgents recognise this as a weakness and target fuel convoys, costing lives and tying up resources in convoy protection.

Roughly 25% of all fuel delivered to Camp Bastion powers the air conditioning systems for sleeping accommodation.

Our speciality is the design and manufacture of an ultra-low energy cooling product for personnel needing to sleep or rest in extreme heat. Our products help keep you cool when air conditioning is either impractical or when fuel is at a premium.

Our innovative coolers provide sufficient ventilation to keep a person cool without wasting energy unnecessarily; in other words "we cool people, not
places!"

We effectively reduce the cost of keeping you cool from hundreds of watts per person to a handful. Typically, air conditioning a sleeping space in Afghanistan requires 600 watts of energy, a desk fan draws 60 watts, and a this system uses just 6 watts.

We recognise the need for technology to be both affordable and to demonstrate a rapid return on investment. Our products deliver both, being priced in line with other “consumable” items and with a ROI measured in weeks, not years.
