Premier lightweight thermal material

This is a super lightweight, super insulating multilayered metallised material used widely across the world in multiple military applications.

Independent tests by a prominent University in the United Kingdom ascertained a thermal insulation of 8 – 9 Togs. This means that for its weight this material is equivalent to a 24 TOG quilt.

A tog is 0.1 m2K/W. In other words, the thermal resistance in togs is equal to ten times the temperature difference (in °C) between the two surfaces of a material, when the flow of heat is equal to one watt per square metre.

This market leading material is both wind and waterproof and works just as well when wet as it does when dry, unlike standard fabric materials.

This product is used by many Search and Rescue and Mountain Rescue Teams as well as being recommended in the US Military version of the PHTLS handbook (version 6E) and is CE and FDA approved.

One application of this product, developed over 2 years in partnership with the US Military, is carried by all US Special Forces medical personnel as it is recognised as the perfect solution for the prevention and treatment of hypothermia in combat casualty care.

It is now also carried by all RAF aircraft on operational duty, is widely carried by military personnel in action in Afghanistan and this super lightweight, pocket sized jacket is used extensively by the Australian Military.

Here is another superb application of the product. Used extensively by military personnel, outdoor enthusiast and survivalists around the world. Trials by British Marines in Norway discovered that they were much warmer for a considerable time longer using this bag as opposed to the standard UK Military issue cold weather equipment.
