Modular pontoon systems for water access
Modular pontoon systems are an eco friendly, durable and reliable solution where a floating platform is needed.
The system is rotational moulded creating a tough durable product made from MDPE. The modules are 700 x 700 x 440 & lock together with a uniquely designed Pin to form floating platforms. Applications include docks, bridges, walkways & work platforms for temporary or permanent installations, transport barges and emergency relief aid.
Example Systems
A) A barrier to control the polluted run-off water from the runways at Heathrow for BAA. This modular system replaced the rotted concrete floats. A rubber barrier was then attached to fenders supported by the modules to form a durable and flexible solution.
B) Temporary jetties were needed in the Scilly Isles to accommodate the 40 tonne ferries. A clear testament to the strength of this system, taking up to 2 metre waves and Force 10 storms.
