Example of a Modular Transitional Shelter
As they are build in a factory once on site they fit together very quickly. These modular units are mounted on bases made from welded steel and can be quickly put in position on a concrete pad. They can be finished in many styles to suit a variety of needs such as hospitals, clinics, schools, offices, homes, retail units and they are designed to be earthquake and storm proof.
They will last for 30 years and even can be dismantled and moved to another site should demographic needs change significantly.
Units are produced in a range of multi-functional shelters from a 1.5m by 1.5m toilet / shower box through to a 7m by 5m clinic / classroom.
All units are accommodated on a unique metal base that simplifies the means of transport; erection and relocation to subsequent sites.
